This Diablo 4 Legendary drop has to be a troll

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, there is no doubt that Diablo 4 has a lot of interesting loot. Add to that the ability to target Aspects from the dungeon, and the fact that you can extract Aspects from equipment and imprint them onto other pieces, and you end up with a lot of freedom in building your character.

But sometimes, the game is just cruel. And no, we’re not talking about the six rarest items you’ll never see. Due to the inherent random nature at the heart of the math that decides which affixes you drop in loot (and how powerful), you sometimes end up with failure.

That is the unfortunate situation Reddit User Lavus Vincere were found. When they received the Boneweave Helm of the Crowded Sage, they didn’t expect the Aspect it rolled with to have a value of zero.

“You heal for 0 [0-2] Life per second for each nearby enemy, up to 8 lives per second,” reads the Aspect’s description.

LavusVincere sarcastically called him the “greatest legendary known to man” in his popular Reddit post. As it turns out, they weren’t the first to get a semi-useless stat on the legendary drop from him either. As others have shared in the comments, this seems to be more common than you might expect.

User mamamouser they had the exact same Aspect drop on a legendary shield that they received for defeating The Butcher, who they met in level one!

MamaMouser’s was somehow worse version of the same Skin, with an impressive [0-1] Life, and an even shorter duration of six seconds! Which is just insulting.

Of course, anyone unfortunate enough to get these ultra-low stats on their Aspects can still find some solace in the fact that the Aspect can be improved by upgrading the item it was rolled on, which is five times in this case. . Updating the Skin before extracting it means it will be stronger when it is finally printed on a different and better item.
