Players are struggling to believe Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom actually exists

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a video game that you can play right now, but some gamers find it hard to believe that it exists.
If you’ve somehow forgotten, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was first announced four years ago, in 2019, a while before everyone knew what started it, but it’s kind of hard to believe the game is actually here. As it turns out, I’m not the only one constantly thinking, “Wait, I’m actually playing the sequel to Breath of the Wild,” as players on Reddit have expressed their disbelief that the game even exists. . Some light spoilers ahead, though nothing on the story.
Reddit user Teakmahogany started the thread, titled “Is anyone else going through a moment where they can’t believe this game exists??” writing that as “I’m playing this game, I can’t believe it…. This is [Breath of the Wild]… but improved. She kept everything about [Breath of the Wild] that made it awesome and doubled it. Sometimes I just have to take a moment and breathe… I can’t believe this game even exists!”
They’re not the only ones who can’t believe some of the things they’re experiencing in the game. Another user, sadsongz, couldn’t believe he got attacked by a tree (me neither), or the fact that he caught a shooting star while skydiving. Another user said that Breath of the Wild “feels like a beta” compared to Tears of the Kingdom. One person compared it to Elden Ring and how so many players couldn’t believe that game even existed, which is a fair comparison given some of the similarities the two games have.
Whether you can believe the game is real or not, it actually is, and there are a ton of quests to complete. You may not even know where to go first, so we’ve got a handy little guide that might point you in the right direction. And if you still don’t know where to go because you don’t have all the Skyview Towers unlocked, we can help you too.
