Microsoft has revealed more games coming to Game Pass in July, and things kick off today with the return of gta 5 and the addition of Sword and Fairy: Together Forever.
Sword and Fairy: together forever is the latest standalone entry in the nearly 27-year-old RPG franchise. Combining ancient mythology and traditional oriental aesthetics, the game tells the story of three clans of humans, deities, and demons. In the game, you will be in command of a group of characters, each with unique personalities, motives, abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. It features real-time combat mechanics with full freedom of movement and screen-filling skill animations. You can also switch between playable characters, meet and care for spirit creatures, discover interconnected environments, equip your party with new abilities, play mini-games, and much more.
Coming soon to the service for the cloud, console and PC is McPixel 3. Landing tomorrow, July 6, McPixel 3 is a “save the day” adventure that sees the aspiring hero avoid one disaster after another and find himself embroiled in the most incredible situations imaginable. At one point, you’re stuck on a speeding train heading off a cliff, and at another, you’re on a falling plane. Sometimes you’re a dinosaur trying to hide from a meteor or you need to win a soccer game. There are over 100 levels of fast-paced action, over 20 mini-games spread across the game world, and you’ll earn coins to unlock new levels.
The 11 of July, Community releases for the cloud, console and PC. The game is a squatter settlement simulator with customizable base building tools. In it, you will recover materials, grow your food, research new technologies, create new tools and build a new home. Featuring unique characters that will turn from strangers to familiars, you’ll help your community overcome food and shelter shortages.
Insurgency: Sandstorm comes to Game Pass for PC on July 11. If you’re unfamiliar with the shooter, it features war-torn environments and contemporary conflicts. The sequel to the indie Breakout FPS Insurgency, the game lets you fight on expansive maps in up to 14v14 modes or eight-player co-op against the AI, and features drivable vehicles mounted on machine guns.
July 14th will see the release of exoprimal for the cloud, console and PC. Available from day one with Game Pass, in-game, you team up with and defeat hordes of dinosaurs in a series of war games run by an artificial intelligence called Leviathan. The game combines PvE and PvP through various objectives and exosuits to pilot. No two games are played the same.
tectonics hits the cloud, console, and PC on July 18, which is also the game’s release date. Available from day one with Game Pass, you will explore the underground of a bioluminescent rogue alien planet. As you explore, you’ll build factories and can work alone or cooperatively to master automation, gather resources, research new technology, shape destructible terrain, establish a base of operations, and uncover secrets.
It will also launch on the service on July 18. Cave for cloud and console. This adventure game from Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion creator Ron Gilbert and Double Fine Productions asks you to assemble a team of three out of seven unlikely adventurers. Next, you’ll descend into the mysterious depths to explore locations like the underground amusement park, a medieval castle, and a fully armed and ready-to-launch nuclear-tipped ICBM. The game features a seamless cave world, the ability to switch between the three characters, and both physical and adventurous puzzles. The game is highly playable as you are and try again with a new set of characters for a different experience including story, puzzles and The Cave areas, and hidden treasures and collectibles.
