You’re using Diablo 4’s Emote Wheel wrong

[ad_1]

Diablo 4’s action wheel, or emote wheel as it’s more commonly known, is one of the game’s least appreciated new features. Sure, it lets you pet cats and dogs, and show everyone you bought the $100 edition of the game, but it serves much more meaningful purposes.

You may already know that you can roll up the wheel to quickly get out of dungeons, invite players to parties, etc. But did you know that you can include it in your moment-to-moment combat?

The action wheel, which is bound to E by default on the keyboard and up on the d-pad on the controller, can be customized by removing and adding emotes. There are three pages and you have full control over what you want and where.

But in addition to emotes, you can also attach much more practical items to it, such as elixirs and incense. Elixirs, in particular, don’t have the most descriptive icons, so it’s a pain trying to find what you’re looking for and activating it before or during combat.

The same goes for scrolls, which are very useful for hardcore players trying to get out of a sticky situation before losing their character.

In addition to showing the wheel itself, you can also bind individual functions of the wheel to your keyboard, which is very useful for potions that have very limited effects over time.

The only thing you need to make sure to do after you’ve finished customizing the wheel is to commit your changes before exiting the menu. If you don’t, it won’t save your changes. This also applies to title changes on the character page, but you should know that by now.
