You can actually tuck your plushies into bed in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley is full of secrets and surprises for players to discover. Those with hundreds and hundreds of hours in the farming sim will still make revelations as they decorate their farms or start new careers. A Stardew Valley player with 2,000 hours has done just that, and the community is stunned by the small but delightful discovery.

First reported by GamesRadar and shared in the stardew valley subreddit, this player discovered that we can actually put our stuffed animals in the beds inside our cabins. They explained that they had over 2000 hours in the game when they made this accidental discovery.

It’s unclear if the ability to tuck your stuffed animals to bed has always been around or if it was quietly added in one of the many updates distributed by the creator, ConcernedApe. Either way, the Stardew Valley community is thrilled by the discovery, and most gamers are also completely unaware of the fact that we can cram stuffed animals in for a good night’s rest.

I’ve played Stardew Valley a lot over the years, and I’ve never seen it either, but it’s a lovely discovery. Stardew Valley is loved for how moving it is and how wonderfully developed the world and its characters are. Little community reveals like this are only part of what makes the game so appealing to so many.

If you want to go ahead and put your big bear or Junimo in bed instead of your kids in Stardew Valley, all you need to do is move your furniture. Reddit user u/youkaymelis, who made the discovery, shared that they had upgraded their house and then started moving things around. When they tried to fit one of their stuffed animals between two beds, it didn’t quite work and the stuffed animal ended up in the bed.

Other Stardew Valley players are similarly shocked by the little find, stating that “this is the biggest find in a long time” and “that’s so cute and wholesome! I’m going to turn my kids into pigeons and replace them with stuffed animals!” . Nice.
