We finally have official Pokemon forums and Nintendo is already pulling some of the funnier threads from it

Nintendo has answered a major request from Pokémon fans everywhere by finally releasing pokemon forums July 4.

While it’s a great idea, it seems like things went off the rails a bit quickly, in Nintendo’s opinion, resulting in thread removals and a few bans.

On the forums, topics currently range from Favorite Pokemon to Favorite Starters, and then there are threads about Favorite Mid Evolutions and Favorite Pokemon Types. All pretty safe and vanilla.

However, at one point, there were some pretty silly and funny forum threads posted that Nintendo apparently didn’t like too much, so they were taken down, at least we can’t find them anywhere. Fortunately, the Internet never forgets.

Here’s one: “Which Pokémon would be the best to operate a Hyundai 25L-7 Forklift?” And another: “What Pokémon would you eat for lunch?”

Our answers to those questions? I’d say Snorlax for the first, if he could stay awake long enough to get the job done. As for the second, Bellsprout. Probably. I don’t know though, Miltank, Bouffalant and Tauros would all look great on a plate next to a baked potato and roll.

Another thread didn’t ask a question, but instead offered an opinion: “I think in the next game Geeta and Rika should kiss and get married and [then] play Fortnite together” (thanks for this, GamesRadar).

As of press time, we’re trying to find more fun threads on the Pokemon Forum, but sadly, there don’t seem to be any. However, the forum is still young and we are sure that the people will keep the moderators busy for the next few days and months. Maybe even years, if Nintendo doesn’t give up and shut the thing down.

What kind of forum thread would you start? We’ll probably ask something silly like “Why do some of the creatures seem to be wearing bras?” – Because it’s true.
