Water is wet, and players dying in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is still funny

To no one’s surprise, just one day after release, players of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are dying in ever more hilarious ways.
I remember my first death in breath of the wild. He hadn’t even left the Great Plateau and had just reached the top of the first tower. Of course, that mysterious old man told me that I could have his glider if I do some tasks for him, so I proceeded to leave the tower incredibly tall and… lost a step and fell to my death. “Ouch,” I thought. “That’s what this game is.” And it’s safe to say that Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is exactly the same in that regard.
Players have already started sharing their death experiences in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and let me tell you, the potential for funny deaths is arguably even greater in this one. On Reddit, user Kingoftheuniverse800 thought that putting together a bunch of logs would make a successful bridge. Spoiler alert: it wasn’t!

User SkyMewTwo’s first kill involved some experimentation with the fuse mechanic and a red chuchu jelly, and let’s just say there was certainly a burning passion behind the idea.

The Days Until Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Twitter account might have remembered to remind us how far into the game it was, but they didn’t remember that you don’t start with the paraglider.

CrystAAHHL decided to go into the bridge building business, but forgot the most important rule of bridge building: don’t stand on the bridge you are building while building it.

Tears of the Kingdom’s final pre-release trailer referred to Link as the last stand, but Casey Moore shows that maybe that’s a bad idea.
In fairness to everyone (including myself), Tears of the Kingdom is a tough game! Fortunately, we have some tips for beginners to help you on your way.
