Watch out, God of War Ragnarok spoilers are doing the rounds on social media

It wouldn’t be an AAA video game release without some kind of leak, this time for god of war ragnarok weeks before the game ends.
We’re not going to write about them here, because that would be a jerk move, but we wanted to let you know that if you’re not careful, you might find some spoilers for 2018’s upcoming God of War sequel. The leaked images were first seen by CVGwho speculated that the account might belong to someone with a review copy and didn’t realize the screenshots were posted online.
The account the images came from seems to have since deleted them, though Twitter as it stands won’t be too surprising if they circulate, so maybe he’s included some muted words, or just don’t go on Twitter. Not at all if you can help it if you’re particularly spoiler-averse.
God of War Ragnarok went gold just a couple of weeks ago, which means it’s ready to be pressed onto discs and shipped wherever it’s needed. VG247 recently got a chance to preview Ragnarok, where James Billcliffe wrote, “I was a little worried at the start of God of War Ragnarok. Before he’s had time to reset his characters, setting, and scenery, he’s not so pulling a lot of the fibers of the heart but pulling your arteries with the Chains of Olympus.
“If the entire game were this thick, we’d be veering off into the nine realms of cliffhanger, but thankfully Ragnarok quickly finds its place and settles into the tonal ping-pong of a contemplative coming-of-age story that explores interpersonal relationships “. relationships with a shadowy edge who also takes regular breaks to bash monsters with a giant ax until their heads fall off. That’s what video games are.”
