Warframe gets a exciting new twist on survival with Lua’s Prey
[ad_1]
Warframe is set to receive a selection of new Survival Missions alongside Warframe 51: Voruna.
Taking place both on Lua and those who have completed The War Within Quest, these quests are a twist on the usual format. As with typical survival missions, players must maintain life support over time. However, with these Thrax, enemies will spawn with each successful round, depleting life support and can only be killed with Necramechs.
There is also more to make these missions special. In addition to the Thrax enemies, spectral Dax Soldiers will appear and head towards the life support machines. They send out an aura as they approach, providing various boons to players within them.
But the real prize is of course the new Warframe: Voruna. This can be unlocked instantly when the Lua’s Prey update launches on November 30, or earned in-game by collecting its parts.
This Warframe was co-designed with Joe Madureira from Airship Syndicate and Darksiders. That studio may sound familiar, they are the developers of an as yet unannounced MMO published by Digital Extremes.
The Werewolf Warframe has been long-requested and highly-hyped in recent years, finally being revealed relatively recently as part of the Warframe Anniversary event. With its finally arriving in the game, players can cross one of those dreamy frame designs off their wish list.
