Voice Actress Hellena Taylor Clarifies What She Was Offered For Bayonetta 3 Following Reports

Last week, voice actress Hellena Taylor took to Twitter to share the reasons why she wasn’t returning to voice. Bayonetta in the third game. Taylor felt the low offer for his time wasn’t adequate enough for all he brought to the game and the fans. The next day, a new report revealed that he was offered more to come back. As I posted in the third part of my video thread. I explained that his first offer was too low. That offer was $10,000 in total. Remember, this is a $450 million franchise (not counting merchandise). Then I wrote to Hideki Kamiya in Japanese, asking him what he was up to.

He responded by saying how much he valued my contribution to the game and how much the fans wanted me to express the game. So they offered me an additional $5,0000!
So, I refused to voice the game. Then I didn’t hear from them for 11 months. Then they offered me a flat rate to express some lines for $4,000. Any other lies, like 4,000 for 5 sessions, are total fabrications.

There were no “extensive negotiations.” I have also been informed of ridiculous fictions, such as asking for $250,000. I am a team player. I was just asking for a fair and living wage commensurate with the value I bring to this game.

Taylor questions some of the things that have been reported, like asking for $250,000. “I am a team player. I was just asking for a fair and decent wage commensurate with the value I bring to this game.”
The one time I was at a gaming conference, I felt weird asking fans for money for a signing since they had already paid for the game and I was grateful that they liked my work and the character. So I donated 100% of signing fees to charity.
