UPDATE: Great news for anyone hoping ThatTOTKGirl finds the person they are looking for, as on the comments from the post you’ve shared that you’ve found the person in question. How the two get along is unknown, but a beautiful resolution nonetheless.
In a midnight release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, a player expected to find the game, but ended up with a possible lost connection.
Do you remember the one that got away? The one that keeps you up at night thinking, “Damn, he should have done it!” Well, a Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player certainly does, as she’s currently looking for someone she met at the game’s midnight launch. In a post titled “Lost Connection at Southwest Illinois Gamestop Midnight Launch,” Reddit user ThatTOTK girl shared the cute story of her meeting another prospective player at said midnight launch.
“I was the blonde girl who did her hair like Zelda,” the post opens. “You were the guy who showed me his Zelda-themed tattoo on your leg and we chatted about Nintendogs among other things. I had a lot of fun talking to you and I wish I could talk to you some more! If that was you, please send me a message and tell me the name of nintendog from your childhood hahaha”.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, It appears ThatTOTKGirl has yet to find her missing connection, though as some commenters have pointed out, she may be avoiding the subreddit for fear of spoilers. Everyone in the comments was very friendly, luckily most of them were looking forward to meeting up and sharing any updates.
