Two Point Campus is set to receive mod support, beta coming soon
[ad_1]
announced last night via a blog post on Two Point County, it has been revealed that Two Point Campus will soon receive mod support. The sequel to Two Point Hospital, the academic management simulator is already a huge improvement over its predecessor, as noted in my Two Point Campus review.
With that in mind, seeing Two Point Campus support mods “very soon” made me feel a bit of joy. What is already a fun game, constantly making fun of teachers, students and academics in general, will now be even better with the support of personalized content.
In the blog post, Two Point Studios shares: βIn our previous game, Two Point Hospital, we enabled the Steam Workshop and players had the ability to create their own custom wallpapers, rugs, etc. However, we wanted to take this a step further in Two Point Campus, so for the first time, we’ll be allowing players to modify real items in-game!
However, what is different this time is that Two Point Campus will not be using the Steam Workshop. Alternatively, Two Point Studios has partnered with Mod.io “to enable cross-platform mods for our PC and console gamers.” So no matter what platform you are playing on, you will be able to enjoy mods in your game if you want. This is already a huge improvement on Two Point Hospital, whose mods were limited to custom content on PC only.
“We will work on modding in different stages,” says the studio. βThe first stage is the modification of elements. If all goes well, we’ll start looking into what other areas of the game we can do to give you more power to tweak your experience in unique and interesting ways.”
π£ We’re officially bringing mod support to Two Point Campus on PC and Console with our friends at @modiohq!
We’re looking for modders to participate in a small beta very soon, so if that’s you, get in touch!

Sounds good to me! It’s been a while since I last jumped into Two Point Campus, but I’ll certainly be back with the introduction of mods, just to see what additional chaos I can wreak on campus. Also, as a Sims player myself, there is something very satisfying about building and customizing each different campus.
There is no release date yet for Two Point Campus mod support, but it will go into a small beta test “coming soon on Steam” with experienced modders. Two Point Studios then noted that if you’re a modder, or know someone who is, email them and get involved. Full details on how to contact Two Point Studios in regards to this can be found at the blog position of the adt.
As for those who have a more take-it-or-leave-it approach, the study also said “there will be a lot more to talk about soon.”
What do you think of the introduction of mod support in Two Point Campus? I am, of course, excited, but would you rather see something else in the game?
