This new look at Immortals of Aveum gameplay shows off more of the first-person magic shooter

A new look at Ascendant Studios’ Immortals of Aveum was shown at Summer Game Fest 2023 tonight.

Drawing inspiration from God of War, BioShock, Doom and more, the game is set in an original fantasy universe filled with magic and conflict on the brink.
The story-driven game takes place through the eyes of Jak, an immortal who joins an elite order of battle mages. These mages are well versed in the three colors of magic (blue, green, and red) used to decimate legions of enemies with chain attacks and counters.
As you can see in the video, Sandrakk and his forces continue to march towards their goal, but the Immortals are not far behind to stop them. Jak, Devyn, and Zendara board a Colossal capable of carrying an entire battalion of battle mages to pursue Sandrakk.
The magical single-player first-person shooter will launch on July 20, 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the EA app, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
