The Callisto Protocol reveals season pass will add new death animations
[ad_1]
In an era where games are striving to find new and innovative ways to monetize themselves, the Season Pass reigns supreme. So it’s no surprise that The Callisto Protocol has a season pass of its own.
First reported by the people of CVGinformation about the season pass was discovered after it was added to The Callisto Protocol’s steam page.
The Season Pass will be available to everyone who purchases the Digital Deluxe version of the game and will include the Story DLC, the Contagion Pack, the Riot Pack, and the Outer Way Skin Collection.
The Contagion Bundle is a brand new game mode for The Callisto Protocol that is not for the faint of heart. This mode will have reduced ammo and health drops, and permadeath will be a thing. Therefore, there is no room for mistakes in this mode, which is intended for the most hardcore gamers. In addition to the new mode, there will also be 13 brand new death animations for the protagonist, Jacob.
At first, I was worried about the new death animations, worrying that my experience with The Callisto Protocol wasn’t actually as gory as I wanted it to be. With that said, Glen Schofield decided Twitter to address this concern, as I was far from the only one concerned about it. “To be clear, we are not hiding anything from the core game for the season pass,” shares Schofield.
“We haven’t even started working on this content yet. They are all new things that we will be working on in the new year. The fans have called for EVEN MORE kills, so we’re making it a priority next year.”

So The Callisto Protocol will ship as planned, with all of the new Season Pass content still in the works. This means no one will be missing out on any cool details or finishers when the game launches, and I’m glad to hear it.
In addition to the new skin collection and the Contagion Bundle, the Season Pass will also feature the Riot Bundle. This will take you to a never before seen area of the Black Iron Prison and you will face hordes of enemies. You will need to earn credits to upgrade your equipment and survive as long as possible in this new game mode. In addition, the Riot Bundle will have 12 new death animations and the collection of engineer skins.
It seems that those who want more of The Callisto Protocol are in luck. Two new game modes, dozens of new death animations, and more story DLC are sure to keep anyone busy, especially around the Christmas period.
