Starfield takes up a quarter of your Series S’ storage space

During June, we took a long look at Bethesda’s mammoth space RPG: Starfield. And we know it’s definitely gigantic, because not only will there be a lot of procedurally generated planets and over 250,000 lines of dialogue, but you’ll also need 125GB of storage space, too.
Starfield is available for PC and Xbox Series X/S, and is available for pre-order now. That won’t be a problem for people with a lot of space left over on their SSDs (which Starfield has to install), but those with an Xbox may be less thrilled.
At 125 GB, Starfield will actually consume a quarter of the storage space of Xbox Series Sand about an eighth of the space of Xbox Series X.
It’s no news that it doesn’t take much to fill the storage space of an Xbox Series S (I managed to fill mine with fair Resident Evil 4 Remake when you had multiple save files on the fly, whoops!), but those interested in playing Starfield might want to empty their console or grab a hard drive before the game launches.
Starfield will be widely available when it launches on September 6, with the Standard Edition of the game setting fans back. for $69.99 in the United States and £59.99 in the UK.
However, if you’re interested in getting in early, those who pre-order the Starfield Premium Edition will be able to play the game five days early on September 1. However, this version of the game will cost $99.99 in the US and £85.99 in the UK.
Last but not least, those who don’t want to spend money can enjoy Starfield from day one with a Xbox Game Pass membership.
