Star Trek: Infinite honors Picard Day with new gameplay trailer and insights
[ad_1]
In honor of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Paradox Interactive and Nimble Giant Entertainment have released a new trailer and gameplay details for Star Trek: Infinity.
Announced at Summer Game Fest, the grand strategy game takes you on a journey through space and into the heart of the galactic struggles between the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.
With emerging gameplay and complex options, the game takes inspiration from Star Trek: The Next Generation, but it’s not just about SS Enterprise. Instead, it puts you in command of one of the four major powers in the galaxy: the United Federation of Planets, the Romulan Star Empire, the Cardassian Union, or the Klingon Empire.
Each main power has individualized traits, stories, missions and more for a different game. You can send fleets to explore the Alpha and Beta quadrants, manage an economy, and navigate diplomatic endeavors.
With endless options and the chance to shape the fate of your favorite Star Trek powers, the game upholds respect for franchise lore as you embark on your journey through space, encounter new civilizations, and forge your way between the stars.
More information and updates about the game will be available before the game is released.
Star Trek: Infinite launches for PC this fall.
