Sonic Prime’s latest trailer shows the bolt from the blue hopping across dimensions

The latest trailer for Sonic Prime shows the blue pig will be speeding his way through multiple universes, with plenty of redesigns of fan-favorites to boot.

Depending on your perspective, it’s a great time to be a Sonic fan. Of course, sonic frontiers it’s far from perfect, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a good time all the same. The next installment in the film franchise is also only a couple of years away, and there’s the Knuckles spinoff series. And next month, Netflix brings us an all-new show, Sonic Prime, that puts our favorite little prankster in a mess: one in which Eggman seems to rule multiple worlds across the multiverse.

Sorry, I should call them smashspaces, like Tails does, whatever that means. A previous teaser trailer already revealed that Sonic would be traveling to another dimension. Although it only showed one that puts everyone in a futuristic, fascist city where all of Sonic’s friends are part cyborg (oh, and no one knows who he is).

This most recent trailer shows a couple more worlds that Sonic visits, one where his friends are all pirates, and another where everything seems to be more from the stone age. But no matter where he is, no version of his friends remember him, which is kind of sad, right?

Sonic Prime is coming to Netflix on December 15, with a total of 24 episodes, and is being produced by Canadian production company WildBrain, with showrunners and executive producers hailing from Man of Action Entertainment, the studio you’ll probably know best as the one behind it. of Ben 10.

Sonic Frontiers still has a bit of a way to go, apparently, as the game director recently said. The game has its fair share of issues, but the team is listening to feedback from fans and critics, so hopefully the issues will be resolved.
