During yesterday’s Silent Hill broadcast, it’s safe to say that Silent Hill fans were eating well. We saw three different games announced, including a look at one of the best horror games ever made, Silent Hill 2, which is being remade by Bloober Team. On top of this, we also have the Ascension of Silent Hill live event to look forward to, and a brand new movie to the series.
One of the three revealed games was silent hill n, which appears to be the next main entry in the series. The art itself in the short trailer shown has also led some to believe that Silent Hill F may have something to do with it. sakura drips since a time ago.
Personally, I’m not convinced, but Silent Hill F looks pretty cool and stylish all the same.
The game will be developed by Neobards Entertainment, who happens to be the developer behind Resident Evil: ReVerse and Resident Evil Resistance. It also worked on Devil May Cry HD Collection and Resident Evil Origins Collection. It is little to exploit, but at least we know that this team is expert in handling their horror titles.
Additionally, the story will be written by Ryukishi07, the author of the When They Cry visual novel series. We can also expect Kera to be on board to work on creature and character design, with Motoi Okamoto (who you might recognize from Nintendo) as the game’s producer.
Other than this, little else is known about Silent Hill F or what it might entail. All we have to say is these various names and that brief trypophobia-inducing teaser. Silent Hill and holes go hand in hand I guess!
