Scorn’s review scores hit scoreboard, might leave critics scorned – review round-up

Disdain It comes from the folks at Ebb Software, and it’s a grotesque yet riveting horror experience. That said, what does everyone really think of this?
The first-person horror adventure comes to PC and Xbox Series X/S today, October 14, and is also a Game Pass day one release. So if you’re a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, you can install the game for free on PC, Xbox Series X/S, or even try the title through Xbox Cloud Gaming.
It also happens that Scorn is one of the first games from Ebb Software and, IMHO, it’s incredibly impressive. It’s an unsettling game that started with an unsuccessful Kickstarter campaign in 2014, but has now managed to find its feet and has run a much more successful campaign ever since.
You can check out a gameplay trailer for the title below.
So what did critics have to say?
That’s definitely a pretty mixed reception, but it seems like most think Scorn is worth playing one way or another. That said, will you be testing Scorn this October or adding it to the backlog?
If you happen to be interested enough to give Scorn a try, our walkthrough of the game begins with the prologue and Act 1.
