Recall could be Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s strongest ability

All of the abilities in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom are pretty impressive, but Recall might be the most powerful of all.
Tears of the Kingdom has many differences compared to its predecessor, although some things remain the same, and one of the most notable changes is the four main powers that Link has. Ultrahand allows Link to collect and build a wide range of wacky gadgets, Ascend basically lets you cheat in the game, and Fuse can even let you recreate a scene from the animated series. But it could be Recall, which has the ability to rewind the moves of almost any item in the game, that could be the big skill of the lot.
There are some places where it’s pretty obvious that you should use Recall; many shrines, for one thing, but also to throw rocks or spiked steel balls at enemies, as we have seen in the previews. Of course, it wouldn’t be until players got their hands on the game that we’d see the full scope of what Recall can do, and it’s looking pretty impressive so far.
On the one hand, there is this shorten from the Waypoint team with Austin Walker experimenting with the Recall and Ultrahand. In the clip, he uses Ultrahand to move a Wing over a chasm, then brings it back to Link safely on the ground. After that, he uses Recall to rewind the Wing above the hole before jumping on it and sliding down.
Then there’s this clip of finnsfrank on Reddit, using the same two abilities again, and another wing, to help them glide from one island to the next.

This user got even smarter by pairing the Ultrahand, Recall, and Ascend to essentially create an elevator.
I thought each of the new powers seems a bit specialized and inflexible, turns out I worried too much.

You can also use Recall to attach a fan to your Wing mid-flight for an extra boost.

And oh, you can also use it to catch a chicken wing that would otherwise have fallen to its fate. Priorities!
Old God: I have given you the power to bend time to your will. Use it wisely, as the world is counting on you. Me holding the drumstick: Huh?
