Pokémon Scarlet & Violet spoilers have made their way into the wild

As first seen by people in CVG, Spoilers for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are currently circulating, more than a week before the game’s release.
The Pokémon Company is particularly strict when it comes to protecting its games from being leaked everywhere, and it doesn’t want the experience to be ruined for any player. That said, it always seems that someone finds a way to do just that.
In January of this year, Pokemon Legends: Arceus was released. However, the game was found prematurely in the hands of multiple players through piracy, and various streams and content about the game were available long before it was officially released. While no one has started streaming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet ahead of time, it’s sadly no exception when it comes to leaks.
According to VGC, screenshots of the unreleased game began circulating on social media at approximately 1 a.m. PT. social media if you want to avoid spoilers.
It appears that many of the leaked screenshots are from a Spanish speaker, and the on-screen dialogue is in Spanish. Since the initial leaks, many other social media users have gone ahead and re-shared the images, as they do. The screenshots reportedly show currently unrevealed Pokémon, spoiling the surprise of the new ‘mons for many.
With over a week to go until the game’s release, it seems avoiding these Pokémon Scarlet and Violet spoilers can be a tall order. It’s a good thing Twitter isn’t worth it right now, at least.
