Microsoft and People Can Fly collaborating on Project Maverick, a game based on an existing IP

This is according to a statement published on the Polish financial site. Interia Biznesthrough eurogamerwhich states that Project Maverick, as it is called, will be funded by Microsoft.
The production and publishing deal with Microsoft will take place on the work-for-hire model, based on a triple-A IP from the publisher, for a total budget of $30-50 million.
No further information was provided on which IP the developer is working on.
People Can Fly was established in 2002 and is based in Warsaw, along with locations in the UK and North America. The studio’s previous shooters and action games include Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders.
As stated on the studio’s website, it is developing several titles in conjunction with Project Maverick. There’s Gemini with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger desktop publishing projects; Network project in concept phase; and two virtual reality projects, one of which is Bulletstorm VR.
