Marvel’s Midnight Suns season pass brings Deadpool, Venom, Morbius and Storm

We just found out the Season Pass Heroes coming to Marvel’s Midnight Suns! The incoming cast of live service characters includes Deadpool, Venom, Morbius, and Storm. All of these come as part of four separate DLC packs, with one character for each.
But what do you get for each DLC pack? Well, along with the character itself that you can play in the game, you get a new story quest for the hero, an upgrade for The Abbey, plus new skins and outfits. There’s also some lovely artwork, for those who really look at that sort of thing.
The Battle Pass can be acquired through a variety of methods. Obviously, you can buy it outright, but if you were thinking of spending some extra money at launch, it comes bundled with the Legendary Edition of the game.
The season pass, along with the four separate DLC packs featuring the characters mentioned above, also ups the deal with a premium legendary pack. It comes with 23 premium skins, so overall it’s a tempting purchase for those who like to customize their in-game avatars.
Look, let’s get to the point. The first question that came to mind was, will there be an outdated and now tragically unfunny joke about Morbin’s time? He would be willing to put money into it. Nobody likes Morbius! I’ve never met anyone who’s actually said “oh no he was great in Spiderman 204”, it’s a name that people know now because of the movie and of course the meme. It’s a sure thing, you need to prepare.
Also, I have to ask like VG247’s live service guy: Why is there a season pass for a single player tactical RPG? Something about that terminology screams live service, that screams online multiplayer, that this game is not. I don’t know, it’s a strange terminology. Don’t get me wrong, the characters look great and everything. I wonder if it’s an optics thing. Do people respond better to the idea of a day one season pass, rather than four DLC packs at launch? It is something to think about.
But what do you think? Which of the four characters excites you? Will you get the game at launch? Let us know!
