How to Declare War in Roblox Rise of Nations

Roblox Rise of Nations is a game inspired by Hearts of Iron in which players take over a country of their choice in the world to do as they please. Conquer the continent or the world? Or just sit back and watch the world burn? The choice is yours. But if the former interests you, you’ll need to know how to declare war. And it’s not as easy as you think it should be. Here’s how to declare war in Roblox Rise of Nations.

Justifying your war aim

Like in the real world, you can’t just declare war however you want. You must get the support of your people and express a clear intention. War is not war for the sake of it, there is always a reason, be it conquest, subjugation or liberation.

Select the country of destination, by clicking on one of its cities. At the bottom right, a small panel will open for that country. Click on their flag to open their diplomacy menu.

With the diplomacy menu, you can do many things. You will notice that if you try to declare war, the game will not allow it. A few options below declare war is the ‘justify war objective’ panel. Click on that.

You will be given a list of justifications. Clicking on one will give you a time frame to let you know how long it will take to convince people that your war goal is justifiable, to gain support.

With your target selected, click ‘justify war’. Now you must wait for your people to support the war. A pop-up window will let you know when the war goal has been justified.

When it is, open that country’s diplomacy menu once more. Click on ‘declare war’. You can try inviting yourself to rallies for the cause if you wish.
