Your weekly gift has arrived at the Epic Games Store and it’s Fallout New VegasConsidered by many to be one of the best Fallout games ever made.
Developed by Obsidian and published by Bethesda, this is the Ultimate Edition and it comes with all the content from the base game along with the full set of add-ons.
Additional DLC consists of Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road, and the other add-on packs: Courier’s Stash and Gun Runners Arsenal.
With Dead Money, you will be lured into a trap posing as the Sierra Madre Casino. Here, you will have to work with three others to survive.
Honest Hearts finds you on an expedition to Utah’s Zion National Park, and things go wrong, of course. Instead of a beautiful drive to see Angels Landing, the Great White Throne, the Observation Point, the Three Patriarchs or Cathedral Mountain, you will find yourself embroiled in a war between tribes and you will find yourself embroiled in a conflict between a new missionary Canaanite and the mysterious Burning Man. .
In Old World Blues, you are transported to the Big Mountain Research and Development Center. In this crater of a facility, the Think Tank enlists you to save them from their runaway science experiments. Good luck with that.
In the final expansion pack, Lonesome Road: Ulysses, the original Messenger Six contacts you and promises to answer why he refused to hand over the platinum chip at the beginning of Fallout: New Vegas. But they’ll only tell you why if you take one last trip to the Divide canyons.
The base game itself is pretty sprawling, but the additions bring distinct new areas filled with branching quests, new personalities, and more opportunities to play the Savior or Outcast.
Each pack also increases the number of weapons at your disposal, like the Two-Step Goodbye and Sleepy Time, both pretty funny names for such a strong arsenal. And each of the four main add-on packs increases the level cap by five each, ultimately raising the ceiling to level 50.
The next free game to be available on the Epic Games Store remains a mystery and will be revealed next week on June 1.
