Get Suped-up: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 adds Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir to the game

Season 4: Reloaded comes to call of duty: modern warfare and war zone this week, and Activision has provided additional details on what to expect from the season.

The Occupancy Scan is making a comeback, along with the Signals Intelligence Contract. Originally appearing on DMZ, this contract requires an operator or their team to hack three contracted phones. It’s been tuned for Battle Royale and Resurgence, which means you’re on the clock to get to these phones and try to stay alive.

You will be able to use the Portable Redeployment Drone in Season 4, which is similar to the Personal Redeployment Drone. But unlike it, it can only be employed by a single operator, and instead of using wires attached to a drone, one operator hangs on the drone to fly high in the air. This is a Vondel-exclusive field upgrade and will not be available in the DMZ.

Finally, DMZ players should look forward to new options for Call for Help and new mechanics for Assimilation. Additionally, squads that are specifically looking for other players may become the target of a new hunt contract.

The Temp V Field Upgrade allows you to be a Super, temporarily. When consumed, it grants one of four random superpowers in its field upgrade slot. Once you use it, you can activate this power at any time, but if you are removed from combat before activating the power, then, like a normal field buff, it is lost on death.

The powers you can choose from are: Charge Jump will help you propel yourself around the map; electric shock wave sends out a powerful electrical blast that injures operators along with AI combatants and destroys vehicles and equipment; laser vision allows you to levitate and fire a laser beam that passes through enemy targets like Homelander; and teleport which causes an Operator to jump forward in whichever direction it faces.

It’s worth noting that all traditional field buffs seem to dispel the effects of Temp V. This means that picking up an Ammo Box, Dead Silence, or any other Field Buff will cause you to lose Temp V. So keep that in mind.

Temp V is accessible via all Warzone playlists, including the DMZ, except Ranked Play. But expect Temp V to be much rarer in DMZ compared to Battle Royale modes.
