Game Pass rounds off October with Frog Detective 3, Signalis, Persona 5, and more

We posted our review of this game yesterday, giving it a very positive review and noting that developers Asobo “should be proud of what he accomplished in this game, as depressing and fascinating as it is.”
If you’re looking for something that’s a little more horrific in tone – it’s Halloween season, after all – we’ve got both. The Amnesia Collection Y Amnesia: Rebirth It will arrive on consoles and PC from October 20. A legendary series that kicked off the era of first-person horror that brought a fading genre back to life in 2010, it’s well worth playing if you haven’t played it yet.
It gets better, brilliant sci-fi horror title. soma (also created by the developers at Amnesia) is also included in this month’s Game Pass releases on October 20. Probably the best release from the team in the horror genre they reinvigorated, with some really interesting story twists. Well worth your time.
If you’re not in the mood to talk right now, then Phantom AbyssComing to both Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 20, 2019, has you running through a series of procedurally generated temples with just one attempt per run. If that doesn’t sound complicated enough, other players’ attempts can be seen through ghosts that also affect the environment and the myriad of traps within.
Just one day later, on October 21, persona 5 royal is launching on PC and Xbox. Look, there is no going back, Persona 5 Royal is a damn great JRPG, full of color, engaging characters, and a brilliant narrative that takes you through the adventures of Joker and the Phantom Thieves.
Now, obviously all of the aforementioned titles are pretty good, but what if you’re looking for something a little more indie? A little on the niche side? Well, there are some really exciting titles coming on October 27. Frog Detective: The Whole Mystery, available only on PC, has you step into the shoes of a legendary private frog cock, in the case of up to three adventures bundled in this collection. Great for kids, or those who like cute art styles.
Gunshots: Reborn is a brilliant blend of FPS action, RPG elements, and roguelite progression systems, all packed into a crazy onslaught of gunfights available on both console and PC on October 27. He plays as one of six characters and goes through a series of increasingly challenging and powerful levels. your way as you get stronger and stronger.
Finally, and this one is really cool that you’ll want to try, it’s signal! A retro-style sci-fi title that brings back the spirit of classic survival horror with a beautiful pixel aesthetic. This game has been in the works for some time, and as someone who has been following it ever since I saw it on Twitter a while back, my excitement is palpable. You can get it on day one on PC and console on October 27.
