Forget about spending real money on Diablo 4 in-game cosmetics, get real clothes instead

It shouldn’t surprise you, at this point, that Diablo 4 will feature microtransactions. According to Kegan Clark, Blizzard’s product manager for the game, Diablo 4 will be “a full-price game with a cosmetic shop and battle pass, neither of which offer pay-for-energy options.” Much like 2022’s Overwatch 2, then, but we’re all hoping Diablo isn’t as complicated as that quirky release.

You only need to take a quick trip to the online forums and social networking sites of the world to understand that many gamers simply won’t spend extra money on games for which they already pay full price of $70. Some of the in-game cosmetics. it will cost you about $28 – and that’s just for some class armor. If you’re curious about the best classes in Diablo 4 and want to ditch your druid and start playing as a necromancer, for example, you’ll be asked to throw another $28 into the game for another cool outfit. Boo!

So why not go for a real life varsity jacket? The jacket (in a very clever move by Insert Coin Clothing designers) has removable and replaceable patches, depending on which class you’re in at the time. Fed up with your barbarian and delving into the depths like a rogue? Well don’t worry, just remove the patch and replace it. And you don’t have to shell out $28 for the pleasure, either.

And that’s not the only option on offer if you want to show the world just how hellish your fashion sense really is.
