Fantasy game from Hitman studio might be exclusive to Xbox platforms

It seems that the fantasy game that IO Interactive is working on may be an exclusive title for the Xbox console.
this is according to Documents submitted during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial over the Activision-Blizzard acquisition. One of the documents refers to studios or companies that the Xbox maker was considering acquiring.
This list included studio Hitman along with Niantic, Hades’ studio Supergiant Games, Bungie, and even SEGA, a company he previously wanted to buy back in 2013.
In the other document, IO Interactive was listed as working on something titled “Project Dragon” and it was listed as an RPG for PC and Xbox Series X/S. The document also cites the studio working on the game with Xbox Game Studios, suggesting that it will be published by Microsoft.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that IOI’s upcoming game is exclusive to the Xbox console. In 2021, a Windows Central report indicated that the studio was working on a fantasy title that Microsoft would publish for the Xbox Series X/S.
Fast forward to February 2023, IO Interactive announced that its next RPG Project Fantasy was currently in development. While it doesn’t share the moniker listed in the Microsoft docs, it’s safe to say that IO isn’t running two separate fantasy RPGs and the games are one and the same. The company also has its hands full with hitman 3 and developing its Bond game, announced in 2020.
