Disney Dreamlight Valley is one step closer to multiplayer with new weekly photo challenges

GameLoft has announced that the DreamSnap Update for Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on Wednesday, July 19. With that, he also shared the patch notes for the update, and it looks like there’s a lot to look forward to.

The DreamSnaps update will bring new content to the game, including Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph and her associated Friendship Quests, as well as DreamSnaps itself. However, what is DreamSnaps?

Well, DreamSnaps will get players creative by offering the opportunity to participate in weekly photo challenges. Rewards will be given out for participating, which means you can get some Moonstone, furniture, and new clothes for participating.

With that said, it’s worth noting that Touch of Magic Clothing and Furniture will not be compatible with DreamSnaps and cannot be included in your shipments.

DreamSnaps is the closest thing to multiplayer we’ve ever had in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Multiplayer is arguably a great feature that would make Disney Dreamlight Valley even more fun; When the quests are complete and there is little to do but farm and beautify the valley, it would also be nice to be in the company of friends. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see if this is something GameLoft will consider in the future.

For now though, competing with other players in DreamSnaps seems like a fun way to share the efforts of players in their individual valleys.
