A license bug issue affecting Diablo 4 means some players are unable to play the game consistently, but Blizzard has said it is still investigating the bug.
If you’ve been playing Diablo 4, there’s a chance you’ve come across a screen telling you that your copy of the game can’t find a valid license for the game, also known as error 315306. It’s an annoying error, and one that only It should appear when the game servers are down, but it has been a problem for several players since the beta version of the game. However, on Twitter, Blizzard customer support has shared that they are “still investigating” the issue, so hopefully there will be a fix soon (thanks, eurogamer).
“We are still investigating reports of people receiving this error,” Blizzard’s customer support team wrote in response to a player facing the issue. “Diablo’s community manager asked players to submit a ticket with their PSN IDs.” Previously, community manager PezRadar said that the problem had been approachedbut obviously some are still experiencing problems.
The issue is affecting all platforms, but it’s the hardest to resolve on PlayStation – there are ways to fix the problem on both PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, but on the latter you’ll have to go through the cumbersome download process. a game you haven’t downloaded before, or even buy something directly from the console store.
Diablo 4 recently received a hotfix, though none fixed this issue. It wasn’t very big, mostly changing class cooldowns, but it also made the end game more difficult by increasing the amount of health monsters have in later world levels.
VG247’s Connor reviewed the latest game in the action RPG series, giving the game a 4/5, noting the same great action and strong story, but criticizing the open world structure and some serious bugs.
