Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade you’ve received another look at today’s Ubisoft Forward, and you can sign up to participate in an upcoming beta.

For the first time, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade will offer an open world Assassin’s Creed title for mobile devices, and very soon you will be able to try the game for yourself. Heading for the official codename Jade website it will allow you to sign up to participate in the beta, although there is no word on when you will be able to try it out. A new trailer was also shown off, offering a mix of cinematics and gameplay, though while you see everything in-engine, it won’t really give you an idea of how the game actually plays. It certainly looks like a lot of action though, and it really reminds you of how far mobile gaming has come.

Codename Jade will also be available completely free, set in ancient China, and the website says you can “travel through 2000 years of history.” You will also explore “Xia’s path in China’s first unified empire” and must “protect your home from Xionanu raiders behind the Great Wall.”

Ubisoft also showed us our first look at Assassin’s Creed Nexus, as well as providing a launch window and an in-depth look at the story in a new Assassin’s Creed Mirage trailer.
