Apple Arcade is adding Stardew Valley and more must-play games this July

Apple Arcade gives you access to dozens and dozens of games for one monthly fee, without having to pay for them individually. I tried it out a while ago and still check the service from time to time to try out new games; it’s a great way to discover different and new games from the comfort of literally anywhere, and it has plenty of lovely, casual titles to sink your teeth into.
The service also keeps giving continuously hence check it regularly. One month Apple may add a few titles that I couldn’t care less about. For another month, Apple will be filling the Apple Arcade stocking with indie gems I’ve been eyeing forever.
This month, June, is one of the last months for Apple Arcade as multiple standalone gems have been added to the service. The service will open its digital doors to Slay the Spire, Stardew Valley, and a remaster of Ridiculous Fishing, all of which are fantastic games. LEGO Duplo World and Hello Kitty Island Adventure will also be added to the service on July 7th and 14th respectively, if you have any iPad-loving kids who are interested in that.
The first is the first, stardew valley It is perhaps the best farming simulator out there. It’s a great cooperative game, and honestly, it’s endlessly welcoming. If you fancy working on the farm, befriending a wonderful town full of colorful characters, and uncovering various secrets, Stardew Valley has you covered.
It’s also worth mentioning that if you’re a bit tech-savvy, you can import any PC save file from Stardew Valley to mobile and vice versa. I’ve been doing this for a while as I often switch between wanting to sit at my PC or in my living room. It’s a small problem, but worth it if your gaming periods are similar to mine.
If Stardew Valley isn’t your thing, kill the needle could be. Sun praised Slay the Spire as one of the best games to hit PS Plus last year, and now it’s one of the best games to hit Apple Arcade. This roguelike incorporates deck building to crawl through dungeons; Create your unique deck, kill monsters galore, and keep collecting cards!
Last but not least when it comes to the highlights of July on Apple Arcade is Ridiculous Fishing EX. This is an all-new 3D remaster of 2013’s Ridiculous Fishing, and it looks to be just as crazy. The premise is in the name of this game; You will play as a fisherman, Billy, who seeks redemption from his past.
For whatever reason, this leads Billy to fish using unusual gadgets, such as toasters and chainsaws. On top of that, the remaster will feature a competitive mode, so you can compete to be the most ridiculous angler out there.
Slay the Spire joins the Apple Arcade game roster on July 7, followed by Ridiculous Fishing EX on July 14 and Stardew Valley on July 21. I already gave in and bought Stardew Valley on most platforms a while back, but I’ll definitely be giving up Kill the Spire at last. It’s been a few weeks since I bought a new game, and I’m looking forward to doing some deck building!
