Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse release date and time
The Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse release date is Tuesday, November 1.
In terms of Apex Legends Season 15 Release TimeSadly, there are rarely any clear messages on exactly when the new season of Apex Legends will be released before launch. However, the last few seasons have been released at the same time for almost a full year, so it’s safe to assume that the times below will be the approximate release time for season 15.
- US West Coast: 10 a.m. (PDT)
- US East Coast: 1:00 p.m. (EDT)
- UK: 6:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time)
- Europe: 19:00 (EST)
Obviously, take all of the above with a grain of salt. These times are based on previous seasons and therefore could change this time.
What new features are coming in Apex legends Season 15 Eclipse?
New Legend: Catalyst
Let’s start with the most exciting addition to Apex Legends Season 15: Catalyst!
Catalyst is a new Legend joining the roster, a new range of abilities that we’ve only glimpsed through the Eclipse launch trailer we’ve embedded above. While we don’t have an official word on what his abilities are, the trailer (as all previous launch trailers have done in the past) gives us plenty of clues as to what he’s capable of.
First, we see her shoot a puddle of glack goo that trips both Mad Maggie and Fuse, indicating some kind of CC ability.
We also see her put up a gigantic wall that Loba’s squad can’t get through at all, which seems like an obvious ultimate to us. Not only that, but when the supercharged Octane tries to go through it, they clearly slow down to a snail’s pace. We also see that Loba’s scan doesn’t seem to work on the big wall, so maybe she has true vision protection as well.
While we can only guess at what Catalyst can do at this point, if this season is anything like any of the previous ones, we’ll be sure to get a full breakdown of the game in the coming days leading up to the release of Apex Legends Season 15. Once we know for sure, we’ll update this piece with the appropriate information!
New Map: Broken Moon
The new map added to Apex Legends Season 15 Eclipse is called broken Moon. With a mix of nice interiors and constructions in a half-built colony, Broken Moon introduces two major new features: Zip Rails and Giant POIs.
zipper rails they’re like trains, basically. Allowing you to quickly climb and travel across the map along set routes (which aren’t always safe from other teams). However, unlike the trains we’ve jumped on before, you’ll be riding this rail like a zipline, capable of shooting other players from the hip as you zip across the moon.
as for giant points of interest, these are larger, less frantic drop points where you’ll be able to avoid other players longer and get loot more consistently. However, Broken Moon still features several traditional-sized POIs, so if you like your early fights, there will still be something for you.
As for the points of interest and other cool additions we can expect, we don’t know yet! But just like the Catalyst abilities, we’re sure to get more details in the coming days as more trailers are released. So check back later for more details!
