A Warzone 2.0 player has discovered a ridiculously simple infinite money glitch

When Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0’s new DMZ mode was announced, many fans thought it would be a lot of fun. Painted to be Call of Duty’s version of Escape from Tarkov, a high-pressure squad-based experience where players compete against each other for loot, many players have walked away from the mode less than impressed.
However, a recent exploit could convince players to return to the DMZ. First reported by GameRanta player has found a basic flaw to replicate that can win hundreds of thousands of cash in a matter of seconds.
After discovering the Warzone 2.0 exploit, Twitter user JGODYT shared a clip of the discovery, which you can watch below. In the clip, we see the player looking at a gun and a stack of cash on the ground in front of them.
There is a bug in DMZ that if the money is near a floor weapon it gives you Max Cash while trying to Stow the Money. Max ends up being $1.3M.

They then move slightly to the right of the cash, until the tooltip for the resource is displayed on the screen. All of this is done while the player is looking at their weapon. When the player presses the interact button to collect the money, they pick up the weapon, and this is where the magic happens.
At that point, the game crashes and JGODYT manages to leave with the gun that was on the ground and $1.3 million in cash. What’s more, towards the end of the clip, we see both players on the JGODYT team receive the massive amount of cash, despite the other player not being involved in the feat.
It’s not entirely clear why this glitch works. In the reply to JGODYT’s tweet, some players share that the glitch also works in Battle Royale mode and with other resources like ammo.
If this is the case, there is no doubt in our minds that this is a glitch that will be fixed quickly. Even if he was only present in DMZ mode, there is little to no chance that players who make this much money in a matter of seconds would go unnoticed. That being said, there hasn’t been a developer update yet.
