Capcom has announced the sales figures for The rise of the monster hunter and its great expansion, Monster Hunter Rise: Dawn.

The company reports that shipments and digital sales for Rise exceeded 13 million units, and Sunbreak surpassed 6 million worldwide.

The final Sunbreak update went live on June 8th and featured the final monster, Primordial Malzeno, along with various changes to armor enhancements and decorations, and new event quests with increased challenges and more rewards will continue to be released until the 27th. of July. .

Monster Hunter Rise is the sixth mainline entry in the series and was originally released for Switch in 2021 and PC in 2022.

Rise finally arrived on PlayStation and Xbox in January 2023, and is currently available on Game Pass for the cloud, console, and PC. Supports cross play and cross progression between PlayStation consoles or between PC and Xbox. Sunbreak launched for consoles in April.
