Prince of Persia The Lost Crown gameplay reveals time travel combat, and it looks absolutely wild

Ubisoft has given us another look at Prince of Persia The Lost Crownshowing more impressive gameplay.

In today’s Ubisoft Forward, we were treated to a deeper look at the kind of gameplay we can expect from side-scrolling action-adventure. For one thing, most importantly, time travel powers are back and looking wilder than ever. You can use them to solve puzzles and navigate the semi-open world, but more excitingly, you can use them in combat. While doing some amazing flips, he can basically teleport around the place by going back in time, allowing him to pull off some ridiculously cool combos.

Not only that, but we got a fancy animated trailer which is essentially a good excuse to get excited about another Prince of Persia game.

While it may not be the Prince of Persia game everyone was hoping for, The Lost Crown was revealed at Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest and looks to return the series to its side-scroller roots. The game is currently set to release on January 24 of next year and will be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch (essentially, everywhere).
