During the Summer Game Fest 2023 live showcase, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio revealed a release date for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

The game follows the story of Kazuma Kiryu, who operates under the code name Joryu. Once a legendary yakuza, he faked his own death and abandoned his name to protect his family. Now, he finds himself embroiled in a conflict over a mysterious figure trying to lure him out of hiding from him.

As you explore and enjoy Sotenbori and Yokohama, you’ll engage in side quests that lead to an epic showdown that unfolds as you explore. You will experience devastating combat, meet interesting characters and participate in even more interesting activities.

When fighting, the game allows you to dynamically switch between Yakuza and Agent fighting styles. With the Yakuza style, you can unleash aggressive moves fueled by Kiryu’s strength and flair. The Agent style packs punches with absolute speed and precision, and you can use a number of high-tech gadgets like electrified bonding cables to stun enemies and then send them flying.
