Disney Dreamlight Valley not loading? Here’s what you can do while waiting on a fix
[ad_1]
Disney Dreamlight Valley is still only in Early Access, and it appears to be there for a while, but it still has a growing base of players flocking to the sim title. Across the valley, players are tasked with forming friendships, cooking recipe after recipe, and more.
The great thing about Dreamlight Valley is that much of it feels relaxing and without the huge grind that many other simulation titles offer. It’s no wonder gamers, even non-Disney fanatics like me, can’t seem to stay away from the game. That said, one issue is preventing players from logging in.
Disney Dreamlight Valley has had a pretty lingering influence ‘not loading’ problem lately, where the loading screen gets stuck and players can’t play the game. There is some troubleshooting that can be done for this while GameLoft works on a fix, so without further ado, Here’s how to try to fix the not loading error in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley not loading
If you are experiencing the Disney Dreamlight Valley loading error, there are a few things you can do to try to get back into the game.
First things first, you can try restarting the game. Some players have reported that this is all it took to fix their loading issues, but others have noted that this is not a foolproof solution.
If you’re playing on a PC via Steam, you can also go ahead and check your game files before reopening them, to see if there are any issues.
Last but not least, you can also restart your computer to ensure that no background processes are necessarily interfering with your game.
If all else fails, your only option is to wait. Disney Dreamlight Valley has said via Twitter that the not loading bug is their top priority and a fix is on the way. We’re expecting a status update anytime today (at the time of writing) and hopefully the fix itself will be released soon as well.
While waiting for a fix is not ideal, there is one thing to look forward to and that is in-game compensation.
The loading issue fix is working fine and we’ll give you a better idea of the release timing with a status update tomorrow.
We will also share more details about the timing of compensation shortly.
Stay tuned and thanks again for your patience!

Meanwhile, there was also the October 31 update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, which fixed several bugs and added new accessibility options.
Disney Dreamlight Valley October 31 Update
While the loading bug is still awaiting a fix, Disney Dreamlight Valley still distributed a monthly update on October 31. This update is full of bug fixes and more optimizations.
For example, that awkward visual effect that appeared on screen when your character is exhausted has now been removed. Added a seizure warning when launching the game and introduced various accessibility options to the game. Players can now adjust screen movement when completing various tasks and can even turn off lightning if needed.
Recently, The Lion King’s Scar was also added to the game with a how-to-possess quest line through the Sunlit Plateau. These quests weren’t as straightforward as they could be, but this update has addressed the root beer quest.
