Capcom financial report confirms no Street Fighter 6 until April 2023 at the earliest

capcom has published its financial report, which covers the six-month period beginning in March 2022 through September. Not only does it show the success of its titles released within that window, it also left us with some key information about the next six months leading up to 2023, including the fact that we won’t see Street Fighter 6 until later in the year.
That piece of information comes from the statement that the company has no major releases planned before RE4 Remake in March 2023. Since Street Fighter 6 is obviously counted among their major IP releases scheduled for the future, we can determine that we will have to Wait a little longer before your next premium fighting game lands in our hands.
There are also plenty of other interesting tidbits of information to glean from the financial report, which go a long way towards supporting the big claim on the cover of the document: “Capcom on track for 10 straight years of Full Year operating income growth.” The biggest of which has to go to Monster Hunter Rise, which has apparently sold 11 million units, with Sunbreak topping 4.4 million.
Then there is Resident Evil 2 Remake, which has surpassed 10 million units sold. All in all, with all of Capcom’s releases slated for next year, the company claims it will exceed 40 million units in total next year. Capcom is once again taking aim at the stands, calling for another home run after what appears to be a profitable and successful year.
What do you think about how Capcom has been doing recently? Do you think they can reach the goal of 40 million next year? Let us know what you think below!
