So the most important piece of advice I could offer you is to be smart about the way you Lead the Walking Dead. If you kill them passively, they will drop the green orbs you need. If you then move your enemies away from the orbs, you can turn around and pick them up. It may take some practice, but keep trying!

In terms of upgrades, I tend to prioritize items that can deal passive damage. If I can focus mainly on survival… dodging the horde, especially — then that increases my chance of getting further. So I really like the guardianthat summons two peaks that surround you periodically. It’s not a permanent thing, so don’t get too comfortable, but it helps I also really like the Type A drone, which sends a barrage of missiles at the horde every two seconds.
