How to Get to the Silent Forest in Darkwood

dark-wood is a challenging survival horror experience where every second of every day counts. You’ll have to explore beyond Dry Meadow at some point, or else you’ll be stuck there forever. The first other area you will explore is the Silent Forest. But you might have a hard time getting there, there aren’t exactly road signs. Here’s how to get to the Silent Forest in Darkwood.

How to travel to the silent forest in Darkwood

through the thicket

To get to the silent forest, first look at your map. You will notice a small passage connecting Dry Meadow and Silent Forest. Starting from your hideout, or any landmark, head southeast until you reach the edge of the map.

In Darkwood, the edges of the map are blocked by the impenetrable growing forest, however there are sometimes gaps on the edges that allow for further exploration. When you get to the edge of the map in the southeast area, take a close look. You may notice that it is not the edge of the map that is blocking you, but rather the darkness and the dotted trees.

Don’t be put off by this. Keep walking. It is recommended to have at least one weapon and one torch for what is to come. One or two healing items would be advised.

As you walk through the dense thicket, you will bump into a building. Some doors are inaccessible, others are not. Enter the structure through the south entrance. You may need to climb around the building to find it. The edges of the map pinch this building, the only way to get to the Silent Forest is through it.

You will find a generator. Turn it on to turn on the lights. Navigating through the two buildings will take you to a room that was open all along, through a side door. Be very careful. Equip your weapon. When you enter the final room, you will be ambushed by an enemy you have not yet faced. defeat him

In that room there will be a code for the two locked doors. The first unlocks the entrance to that room to make travel easier. The second door is in the north room of the buildings on the right. Unlocking that door will open the entrance to the Silent Forest. Good luck.
